Radio Festival, the annual celebration of all things audio, will be returning to the British Library on September 26th with a string of high-profile speakers talking on the theme ‘disruption’.
The festival will bring together leading figures and experts from across the media and U.K audio industry, with speakers already confirmed including LBC’s Katie Hopkins; Radio 1’s Scott Mills; Senior Director of YouTube, Stephen Nuttall and Nick Robinson of Radio 4’s Today programme.
The Radio Academy Managing Director Roger Cutsforth added: “It’s shaping up to be another great festival with some thought provoking speakers already confirmed and plenty of exciting speakers still to be announced, so watch this space.”
Radio Festival Director Helen Thomas said: “It’s a total joy to be programming the 2016 Festival and a reminder of what a vibrant, inspirational, inclusive industry we work in. The day is shaping up brilliantly, and it’s very exciting to be able to announce our first tranche of speakers – something for everyone, I’m sure you’ll agree! Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the next wave who will be revealed very shortly…”.
Further speakers will be announced in the run-up to the festival.
